Inventory

To mark the launch of the YCN LIVE project we were asked to create a one off interactive installation. Working with Designer David Benqué we built an interactive audio visual projection system. 
VISUAL: Sets of ‘Test Cards’ with black and white patterns were designed to be played with in front of a webcam to create geometric patterns that react in real time. The result was projection mapped onto our large bespoke typographic screen that hung high above the crowds.
AUDIO: Live sound was fed through custom built software manipulating the movement and size of projected 3D objects: a cube, a sphere, a prism and the letters Y, C and N.
People also created their own imagery for the installation using mobile phones, clothing or other printed material.
