Inventory Studio is a London based design and branding consultancy
founded by Robert Boon and David Lane in December 2008. Working
for cultural and commercial clients Inventory consult brands on creative
and curate exhibitions and events, run workshops, give talks and design and produce editions and products. Inventory’s output, whilst varied, is of a consistently high standard recognised globally by design and cultural commentators alike.
Robert Boon (2008–Present)
Studied Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts, London. He comes from a multidisciplinary background and has worked in varied creative roles with a range of clients from advertisers-to-artists before co-founding the studio. He has taught and lectured at Camberwell College of Arts, Central St Martins and The Architecture Association. He has written pieces about design for various magazines and blogs, London. He was invited to join the judging panel for the International Society of Typographic Designers in 2011, the YCN Professional Awards in 2013 and sat on the Graphic Design Jury for the 2013 D&AD Professional Awards as its youngest member.
David Lane (2008–2013)
Studied at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London. He has lectured at Camberwell College of Art, The University of Brighton, Kingston University, The London College of Fashion and Central St Martins College of Art and Design. He has written articles on design for various publications. He is also the founder and Editor of The Gourmand Journal.
