MAIDEN BRITAIN
IDENTTY DESIGN

——

A collaboration between Inventory’s Robert Boon and couture designer Ziad Ghanem. Maiden Britain was concieved as a junior line for Ziad and to be outlet for ideas, illustrations and prints the two had built up over a few years working together on Ziad’s couture label.
The work contrasts punk and tribal graphics with those from the worlds of protest and consumerism and combines sex, wit and low culture references to communicate messages of love and acceptance. The label has had catwalk shows in London, Athens, Russia and Latvia, has been featured in numerous international fashion magazines, blogs and television programmes in the UK and USA.
