Acorn House Cook Book
Book Design

——

We love food. A lot. So we were rather excited when Hodder International asked us to design The Acorn House Cook Book. Written by Arthur Potts-Dawson with a foreword by Jamie Oliver, it is a flagship green publication and is the first book to properly combine cookery, nutrition and green issues, presenting a comprehensive manual of how to live for a year. We decided that the book had to be a usable manual and not another idealist cookery book for simply looking at.
All the design decisions were based on this, highlighting the seasonal nature of the content.
